I've been eating edamame from Seapoint Farms for a while, especially over the summer, I loved to pop the pods and my girls learned to love the slightly salted fun treat.
Last week I found these:
This bag of frozen blanched veggies, may very well be the best blend I have ever found and tasted. Check out the nutrition:
You can't go wrong.
All natural veggies and protein from soybeans, and fiber. It's an awesome blend. I'm eating it Right Now, microwaved and sprinkled with a touch of sea salt. I had it last week cooked into miso broth for a very low calorie meal. It's super-filling, since these are just blanched veggies and they've not lost their original form by being cooked to death. Seapoint Farms has lots of other choices, check 'em out.
- Item: Seapoint Farms Oriental Blend
- Price: I got it for 2 for $5
- Pros: Everything.
- Cons: I wanted full size baby corns. And more water chestnuts.
- Rating: 5 out of 5.

I haven't tried this but I do love the regular edamame shelled or unshelled by the same company. You should check out a new brand by Green Giant...Health Weight. I love it. This week I bought 5 boxes to have as a daily snack and left the whole wheat tortilla chips and salsa at the store!
Healthy Weight - Diets rich in foods naturally containing fiber can help you maintain a healthier body weight.
Sliced carrots, sugar snap peas, black beans and edamame lightly tossed with butter sauce.
