You are shopping. You find a new-to-you protein bar. (PLEASE IGNORE THE CRAZY HIGHLIGHTING. I deleted this post by accident, and had to copy and paste it back from the cache from GOOGLE. OKAY? I will fix it later.)
It's a big ginormous bar with a bunch of calories, but, the nutrition stats are really hard to pass up. It's got 30 grams of high-quality protein, low sugar, lots of healthy brain-boosting fats... What do you do?
Do you pass up the Supreme Protein Bar because it's just too high in calories - or do you take it home and break it into two or three snacks? Or - do you just go ahead and eat the whole honking thing in one sitting, sugar alcohols be damned, and enjoy it as a meal? If you have normal stomach capacity and digestion, this isn't really a big deal, but if you're "one of us," precious calories are just that, preeeeeeeeecious.
So. A big honking Supreme Protein Bar. It's so very tempting, yes? Lookie here. She was tempting alright. I bought ONE. I ate half yesterday morning, and half in the afternoon.
OMG. I was hoping this was super-filling, because I didn't want to eat the whole thing at once, because, of that whole 360 calorie part, you know.
"The Supreme Protein Bar delivers delicious, quadruple-layer candy bar taste with 6 net carbs and 30 grams of high-quality protein, including premium whey isolate. Superior nutrition has never tasted this good!"

(BTW, disclaimer: My reviews are not sponsored. I seek out my own product and I rave about it if I like it. If someone sends me something to review and I hate it, I tell you. Just saying. If I love it - I tell you too. I typically buy my review food myself or ask for a sample. This, I purchased through GNC. The link will be below.)
Now that you've had your protein-gasm from looking at the photos, and freaked out about the calories and how that's 33% of your day!! and what-not let. me. tell. you. how. freaking. good. this. bar. tasted.
It may be THE closest thing I've tried that actually tastes "like" candy that claims it tastes like candy.
The outer coating was sweet, very much like a "real" candy bar, I know it's because it's got a ton of sugar alcohol, but my dog it was good. Then, a layer of crispies, we know how I love the crispies! Also - some super-stringy real caramel, I don't know HOW they did it - but it's REALLY REAL caramel that strings (see photo. Next, the whey protein blend, that has a pretty light creamy nougat-y texture - and the best part of all of these - NO AFTERTASTE - AND NO DRY MOUTH FEEL like other protein bars and shakes.
I LOVED THIS BAR. I will buy more, and I would plan to cut them in thirds, and bag them in 100 calorie-ish sections for 10 gram protein fixes. ALTHOUGH - update - these are now available in SMALLER BARS! Perfect.
