We moved into a woodsy area. The cat is gone.
I am willing to bet he got chomped by a larger animal. This is easier to accept than what usually happens, the car death. Why do I think this? My dog?
She is On The Lookout. She SEES THINGS.
We put up a dog-run in the backyard, and she wants nothing to do with leaving the safety of the porch to go near the treeline.
She sits and watches the woods.
"I know you're out there."
We got a fence price quote, just for the fun of seeing what it would cost to surround our now one acre in somewhat security.
O M G. (We were aware of the cost, we already fenced in an ENTIRE yard a few years ago, but it was only a 1/3 acre with wood and chain link. But, OMG.)
The best bet I think will be keeping the dog out when the kids are, and and fencing in the PORCH for a playpen.
