I am so proud, this video gave me chills.

Supreme Carb Conscious Cookies and Cream

I recently received a box of the Cookies and Cream flavor of Supreme Protein Carb Conscious Protein Bars for review from the Supreme Protein Company.  I have tried all the flavors before, and nearly had a mouthgasm from a few. I find them all Wicked Good, and as close to candy as a protein bar can get.  But, this flavor is new, and it may be my new favorite, Cookies and Cream.  In fact, I'm not finding it on Amazon yet, so it must be entirely new.

It's a smaller,  45 gram "carb-conscious" version of the large Supreme Bars.  It's 190 calories and 15 grams of protein, with only 3.5 sugar grams.

The bar is a chocolate coated, with layers inside of cookie, "cream," and proteins.  It's quite thick and substantial, making for a good filling snack for a WLS'er.  One of the best things about this line of bars, is the lack of that protein TASTE or after mouth taste and feel.  You can't taste it, and for those of us who routinely eat protein bars after weight loss surgery, it's a treat.

Supreme Bars are widely available, I have seen a select flavor or two at convenience stores and big box stores like Wal-Mart.  I also found a miniature bite version available exclusively at GNC a few months ago.  I am glad to see a bar I recognize as something "Pouchworthy" when I am out and about, knowing that I can pick one up and avoid the junk food in a convenience store or grocery store.  It does help me out, quite a bit.

Supreme says:

Supreme Protein® literally stands alone as the world’s only true gourmet protein bar composed of the highest quality protein blend (30 grams, including premium whey isolate). The protein blend in Supreme Protein® is so anabolically active that it is the first bar of its kind that we know of that can be eaten immediately post-workout to trigger anabolism and support muscle repair and growth, while helping athletes stay lean. This superior protein content, in and of itself, sets it far apart, but there’s more. In fact, a lot more. Supreme Protein® contains healthy fats, including flaxseed oil, an excellent spectrum of vitamins and minerals, and zero trans fat.

And then there’s the taste. Look at a Supreme Protein® bar, and you’ll see four distinct layers of flavorful confection that make every bar a treat you’ll look forward to throughout the day. Much like its superiority in the protein quality department, Supreme Protein® is truly light years ahead of the competition in taste and texture.

As far as we’re concerned, all four flavors of the amazingly delicious Supreme Protein® mark the evolution of the protein bar into a full-fledged muscle-supporting agent of the first class. Indeed, if there were any question remaining regarding Supreme Protein’s ascendance to the top of the protein/energy bar heap, customers have put it to rest by making Supreme Protein® one of the fastest-growing brands in retail venues across the country. In the race for the title of “King of Protein Bars,” first place remains firmly in the grasp of Supreme Protein®.
