At the last OH event I tried the newest flavor of the Celebrate Bariatric Supplements Calcium PLUS 500 Chewables, Cherry Tart. O-O!! I will get it out of the way now, this is my favorite calcium flavor by FAR from Celebrate. It makes my mouth do that thing, that pursy lip thing and yowza!
I got a bottle of the chewables from Celebrate -- and I opened them this morning. They smell like candy. Each tablet contains a whopping 500 mg. of calcium, which means, they are bigger than your average bear calcium chewable. (They are nearly the same size as a glucose tablet.)
Biting the tab, it's super sweet and a bit tangy, the cherry flavor is VERY evident. It breaks down very quickly, smoothly, no big honking pieces of grit, just smooth and slightly powdery.
The aftertaste is pleasant, more cherry than calcium, because calcium is gross, and you do not want to be tasting it.
Each tab contains 500 mgs. of calcium citrate, which means you may only require three each day, as opposed to many many swallowed capsules or other chewable products. That's super.
