Uh-oh. Danger, danger. These. are. too. good. These poorly named Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll bars are fanfreakingtastic.
If you are a fan of the ISS Oh Yeah bars, Labrada Rock'nRoll bars, PayDay candy bars, or have a spot for Baby Ruth's? "Baby Ruuuth!" These are for you.
I hate that I love bars like these from a huge company that that need no promotion. I sound like a damn commercial, and it's so far from the truth. I am not a commercial. These weren't samples, I bought two boxes myself, and have eaten a box so far, and am eyeing the second. *grin*
Want sweet satisfaction with not one bit of remorse? Then this is the bar for you. Loaded with caramel, peanuts and a chocolaty coating for a satisfying candy bar taste. Even better than your favorite.
It's a "nougat" center, with a caramel layer, rolled in nuts, and dipped in chocolate. The texture is juuust like candy, biting into a chocolate coating, then into the super chewy center and with all of the nuts, NOM! It tastes like, candy. Which sucks. Why? Because I want to eat them.
The stats:
So there's that. It's super low carb, but high in The Fats, which works for ME, because my body likes a protein/fat/low carb blend. However, it contains lots of fiber and maltitol, which causes me some wall-paper peeling distress.
Which means I have to limit my intake, because although they taste amazing and do not make me sick -- I am afraid my family will move out.
