I am a nut.
I have been a nut fiend since my gastric bypass. My only problem is over-indulgence, because if I over-eat nuts by any amount, I retch and have the urge to throw up. Now that THAT part is out of the way, let's talk CHOCOLATE FREAKING NUTS.
Oh, wait, let's get something else out of the way. I HEART ME SOME GODIVA DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED ALMONDS. I will not give that kind of thing up, EVER. You will be picking them out of my cold, dead, fingers. But? They are hugely sugary and covered in the fatness, which means, I can have, like, six.
What follows? An option! Dry roasted, cocoa dusted/baked/crusted? "Cocoa Roast Almonds" from Emerald Nuts.
Emerald says, "Chocolaty goodness. The kind of goodness that isn’t all sticky on the surface, because that’s not good. No these almonds are dusted with chocolate flavor, because goodness should never stick to your fingers."
And, I agree. Deez nuts are somewhat good. Although I am not against licking my fingers. What's wrong with licking one's fingers when they are chocolaty?
The initial bite is crunchy, dry yet pretty tasty, good chocolate flavor, if a bit dry, I would suggest a drink. That would be my only complaint. I need a drink with my snack, and NOW.
